GSA Daily Staff Report

President Obama and his advisors are studying whether to authorize the theater commander's request for as many as 40,000 additional troops in Afghanistan.
On Tuesday, GSA Daily asked readers if they support the 8-year-old war in Afghanistan and what they thought the United States should do to end its involvement in the conflict?
Of 88 respondents, 45% support the war and said the president should give his generals the troops and resources they need to win; 25% support the war but said the U.S. needs more support from allies; 19% said they’ll support whatever the president and the military ultimately decide; and 10% said the president should bring the troops home now.
The GSA Daily Watercooler Question of the Week is posted on Tuesdays. Results appear on Friday.
