Greenville-based Acumen I.T. announced today that it acquired TeleData USA Inc., a regional designer, installer and support of Mitel business telephone systems.

Founded 15 years ago in Clinton, TeleData focuses its services to the hospitality industry, particularly motels and restaurants.

Terms of the acquisition were not released.

“The added expertise of TeleData strengthens our ability to serve our customers while further enabling us to offer enhanced opportunities for their businesses,” said Acumen CEO David Pence. “What’s more, through this new relationship, we look forward to bringing new business and additional jobs to the Upstate.”

Buddy Craven, co-owner of TeleData, will join Acumen as the manager of its telephony department.

Acumen I.T. sells, installs, customizes and supports Mitel and Zultys business telephone systems.
