Construction is under way on a new Tractor Supply Co. store in Laurens, the company’s 22nd South Carolina location.
Tractor Supply Co. is a largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain. It has been operating in South Carolina since 2007.
The new Laurens store will be at 917 E. Main St., Suite H, and will employ 12 to 17 full- and part-time team members. The 19,097 square-foot store will include a sales floor and support service space. A fenced exterior space will be built for storage and display of items such as fencing, sprayers and livestock equipment.
Construction began on the facility on March 15. The contractor for the project is Marco Contractors Inc. of Warrendale, Pa. A construction completion date has been tentatively set for June 2010.
