Crosland Investment Services LLC, leasing agent and property manager for The Shops at Greenridge, announced Buy Buy Baby Inc. will occupy 29,879 square feet at the shopping center. The baby superstore is expected to open in late fall.

Buy Buy Baby will occupy the former Linens ’N Things building.

“We’re extremely pleased Buy Buy Baby chose The Shops at Greenridge as their first store in Upstate South Carolina,” said Susan McGuire, senior vice president for Crosland’s retail division.

The store specializes in furniture, products, clothing and accessories for infants and toddlers. Buy Buy Baby provides nursery and children’s furniture including cribs, dressers, gliders, bedding and accessories from the industry’s leading manufacturers.

Charles Thrift, senior leasing associate with Crosland Investment Services, represented the property owner on the transaction.

Babies ‘R’ Us, owned by Geoffrey LLC, which also owns Toys ‘R’ Us, is located at 605 Haywood Road in Greenville, about 3.5 miles from the new Buy Buy Baby location.
