Natural Baby recently opened on College Street in downtown Greenville, joining a growing list of new establishments to set up shop in the city’s central business district.
Natural Baby, 11 College St., offers eco-friendly baby products, parenting and childbirth classes, fitness and yoga pre-natal classes, children’s playrooms and birthday parties. The retailer had a ribbon cutting ceremony with Greenville Mayor Knox White last week.
Natural Baby is also home to The Birth Network, a nonprofit agency that connects women with natural birth professionals and provides educational services. Owners Ady Orezzoli and Max Orezzoli moved to Greenville from Miami and initially purchased the building as an investment.
Max Orezzoli has served as a visiting professor at Furman University where he taught various sociology courses.
The Orezzolis are the among the latest to open new establishments downtown. Others include Ult Divan, 124 N. Main St., a bedding and home products store; Pedal Chic, 651 S. Main St., a cycling shop and athletic outfitter for women; and Hoops and Hops Sports Bar, 20 E. Coffee St., a sports bar and restaurant.
Additionally, Cupcake LLC, a specialty cupcake bakery that opened its first location in Charleston in 2006, plans to open a Greenville shop this spring at 120 N. Main St. under the name The Chocolate Moose.
