South Carolina Bank and Trust announced Chris Ward has been promoted to senior vice president.

Ward joined SCBT’s Greenville office in 2008 as assistant vice president and private banker. He was later promoted to vice president, leading to his current promotion as senior vice president.

Ward recently relocated to SCBT’s branch located at 45 E. Antrim Drive next to the Fresh Market off Laurens Road and Pleasantburg Drive.

“The addition of our Antrim Drive branch gives SCBT another opportunity to extend full relationship banking and financial services, from retail and commercial banking and loans, to mortgage and construction lending, to financial and retirement planning,” Ward said.

Ward received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clemson University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 36.
