Wells Fargo Private Bank appointed Anne Surrett as regional director for South Carolina.

Surrett previously served as a wealth adviser for the Charleston market.
She has also served as division president for U.S. Trust in Pennsylvania, as well as at a Wells Fargo predecessor company for more than 18 years.
“Anne Surrett is from Charleston and is very familiar with the needs of our clients around the Palmetto State,” said Jeff Hartman, senior managing director for Wells Fargo Private Bank in the mid-Atlantic and Carolinas. “The continued expansion of our team at Wells Fargo Private Bank in South Carolina with the addition of a seasoned wealth management veteran like Anne, is evidence of our commitment to providing each of our clients with exceptional and personalized service.”
Surrett has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina. She serves as chair of the Women’s Leadership Council and as a board member of Roper St. Francis Foundation, Trident United Way and Life Management Center.
Surrett replaces Tom Clymer who retired in January after nearly 30 years with the company.
