Greenville-based Green Cloud Technologies continues to expand with plans to open sales offices in four additional, undisclosed markets by early spring.

In the last six months, the company has opened regional sales offices in Charleston, Nashville, Tenn., and Tampa, Fla.

Founded in 2011, the cloud technology solutions provider’s 2012 fourth-quarter sales were up 70% compared with the same period in 2011.

Ten months after securing its first customer, Green Cloud recently signed its 100th business customer, Charleston-based East Cooper Plastic Surgery. The medical practice provides surgical reconstruction for breast cancer survivors, among other services.

“They (East Cooper Plastic Surgery) felt many companies were lacking the security they required,” said Cliff Toner, Green Cloud’s partner and owner of Digital Data Solutions, in a news release. “With multilayer security features and certified HIPAA compliant data center facilities, Green Cloud’s solution was a natural fit.”

Green Cloud provides virtual server, unified communications and business continuity solutions to small- and medium-sized businesses through the cloud.

The founders of Green Cloud also founded NuVox Inc., which Windstream Corp. acquired for $647 million in 2010.
